# Release 0.38.0

Release Date: October 2026

Previous Version: v0.37.0

Browse and reuse assets more easily, compare models before running, and follow your workspace credits in one place. This release brings together new user-facing features since 0.37.0, including the intervening 0.37.1 rigging updates. Available models, nodes and billing controls depend on your account, workspace role and plan.

## Browse assets and return to their source

The redesigned **Assets** panel brings media tabs, search, filters and sorting into a compact layout. Browse newest, oldest, largest or smallest first and keep scrolling to load more. Returning to a tab restores its loaded results; catalog updates refresh the loaded range without clearing the grid. The top-bar **Assets** and **Agent** buttons now have labels and a visible open state.

Click an asset to inspect its recorded metadata, origin, source node, project and creator. **Show on canvas** selects its source node in the current project. **Open project** takes you to another accessible source project after confirmation. Open the full viewer through **More actions**. Audio and video play in the detail card while the grid keeps still previews.

Select files with checkboxes, Ctrl/Cmd-click or Shift-click across loaded results. Download a selection as a ZIP, or use **Add on canvas** to insert it into the visible canvas area. Compatible selections become collection inputs. Private-project guidance explains why new files are absent from workspace assets and links directly to **Team access** settings.

## Run a selection from a compact canvas toolbar

Select at least two executable nodes to see **Run N nodes**, counts of up-to-date or blocked nodes, and a current maximum-credit quote when available. The primary action submits ready nodes that need execution and reuses existing valid results.

**Run with prerequisites** and **Cancel queued** remain available. When upstream execution could change the price of connected selected targets, the toolbar shows **Cost unavailable**. The toolbar follows your selection as you pan and zoom.

<figure><img src="https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FNbWX70BIpyQiIJfUkl9G%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=693115e5-15ca-4ef9-ad53-001076cb62ae" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Select two ready text-render nodes and run them together for free. The real browser tab shows two running nodes, then returns to Studio as both fresh outputs finish.

{% embed url="<https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FSiTO5kdMEKT1eyk56eFd%2Fselection-run-smooth-privacy-blurred.mp4?alt=media>" %}

## Follow running nodes from your browser tabs

While a project is running, its browser tab title shows **● Running · N nodes**. You can monitor the running count while working in another tab; the prefix clears when no nodes are running.

![Actual browser chrome while the LLM node is running.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FxTIfjwvI5yvbMZVO1KkT%2Frunning-tab-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## See your plan and credits in one place

A single top-bar credits pill replaces the previous badge and centered credit banners. Open it to see allowance usage, your current plan, non-expiring credits and billing links.

Eligible workspace owners and admins can turn on-demand spending on or off. Turning it back on restores the last successfully disabled cap or the plan default. Other members see read-only controls.

![Studio credits popover and off on-demand control, observed without changing it.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FTc5i4ScjwwAL4k7aehfq%2Fcredits-popover-paid-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## Distinguish reserved credits from settled spend

The plan bar, credits popover, node footer and tooltip, and blocked-run card now show credits **held by running nodes** separately from settled spending. Held credits remain unavailable until the run settles; only the unused portion returns.

The display refreshes periodically, on reconnect and when switching workspaces. It covers paid node holds, rather than assistant-turn holds, and can briefly lag behind execution.

![Actual held credits during the inexpensive LLM run; unused-credit return explanation.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FkkkuZpljrLPwGrtv695u%2Fcredits-held-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

Run the connected text workflow with prerequisites. The text generator runs while Combine Text is scheduled; the credit popover shows 7 credits held by one run and the real browser tab shows one running node.

{% embed url="<https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FoFRWNdompu6s7GKDu9lb%2Fcredits-hold-running-smooth-privacy-blurred.mp4?alt=media>" %}

<details>

<summary>More screenshots and recordings</summary>

The real text workflow finishes: its 7-credit hold settles to a 1-credit charge, returning 6 unused credits. Combine Text completes, the hold line disappears, and the browser tab returns to Studio.

{% embed url="<https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FPBRe7pl7R3gDrpILQ5KA%2Fcredits-hold-settle-smooth-privacy-blurred.mp4?alt=media>" %}

</details>

## Recover a credit-blocked run from the canvas

A **Run blocked** card explains the credit shortfall beside the node. Eligible workspace owners and admins can enable on-demand spending or raise its cap. Once a successful change is acknowledged, Atlas rechecks available credits and retries the original **Run** or **Schedule** action.

Other options lead to checkout, plan management or contact, as appropriate. Members are directed to their workspace owner or admin. If you are waiting for another run's held credits to settle, retry manually once they become available.

![New project in an existing zero-credit Trial workspace: real seven-credit shortfall and upgrade guidance. No billing changes.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2Fm6y48njmOUgXu7miIIPd%2Frun-blocked-upgrade-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## Manage your plan on a dedicated Plan & credits page

Workspace settings now has a standalone **Plan & credits** page, with separate cards for credit usage, the current plan and subscription status, and available plans.

Eligible owners and admins can edit an on-demand cap, save with Enter or by leaving the field, or choose **Unlimited**. The browser remembers the previous finite cap for each workspace. Members can read balances, status and offers. Payment and subscription-portal controls remain available where applicable, with upgrade guidance and an Enterprise contact card when there is no accessible Enterprise offer. Legacy top-up controls are removed from this page.

![Existing Studio workspace: allowance, current plan and on-demand cap controls. Financial settings unchanged.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FLIHB9Tzc1LL2GJr8V7kl%2Fplan-credits-paid-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## Review usage and member limits by billing cycle

The standalone **Usage & limits** page defaults to the exact current billing cycle, or **Last 30 days** when no current cycle is recorded. Choose inclusive custom UTC dates and refresh the report.

Workspace owners and admins see workspace totals and every current member, including members with no usage. They can edit member overrides and remove existing workspace caps. Members see their own usage. Changing reporting dates does not change the period used to enforce limits.

<figure><img src="https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FtiAUYPOiqsKDrxXqy4jW%2Fusage-overview-blurred.jpg?alt=media&#x26;token=b5648483-ddcd-49f4-ad49-d52420a53e69" alt=""><figcaption><p>Owner usage view, including actual usage and member limits.</p></figcaption></figure>

## Inspect transactions and spend breakdowns

The new **Transactions** page brings execution spend, holds, releases and credit adjustments together. Review spend by node and, for workspace owners and admins, by member.

Use UTC date presets or custom ranges, search descriptions or members, filter transaction types and move through pages of results. Ledger totals cover the full filtered result. Members see only their own history.

## Manage members and invitations in refreshed screens

The **Members** page shows the member count, each person's identity, role and joined date, and pending invitations. The invitation dialog has a refreshed email-and-role layout. Trial workspace managers see **Upgrade to invite** guidance. Existing membership and pilot permissions still apply.

## Compare models with descriptions and cost ranges

Hover over a model or focus it with the keyboard to see a short description of supported inputs, output sizes or limitations. Parenthetical notes move into the same card, while search continues to match the full original label. Descriptions cover image generation and editing, 3D, multiview and video choices.

Relative cost indicators such as **$–$$** or **$–$$$** compare supported settings and input sizes before you supply inputs. Search preserves the comparison scale. These are relative indicators; the node's run-price footer still quotes the current inputs. Indicators are omitted when a reliable range is unavailable or your role hides node prices. Accessible labels include numeric credit ranges, and applicable node specifications expose the descriptions.

![Hovering FLUX 3 Image shows its real description beside a relative $ band; neighboring models show higher relative cost ranges. The incomplete node has not run.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FMGwobJFtUHdjMD2BdvYx%2FP03-primary-picker-image-description-costs-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## Use the updated LLM catalog

Compatible model pickers now include **GPT-6.1 Sol**, **GPT-6 Luna**, **GPT-6 Sol (no reasoning)**, **Claude Sonnet 5.5**, **Claude Fable 5.1**, **Groq GPT-OSS 120B** and **Grok Build 0.1 (Early Access)**. Existing supported tiers remain available. Saved retired selections in graphs, assistant settings and agent sessions migrate to supported replacements.

**Procedural Image Builder** and **Blender Agent** hide and ignore **Seed** for reasoning or tool profiles that cannot use it. Generated PNG metadata also omits an unused Seed.

![Seven refreshed LLM profiles: real cobalt-teapot text outputs.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FfqtgfWLaHn9OGBTYuIHF%2FL01-seven-models-results-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

Seed appears for Sol no reasoning and disappears for supported seedless tool profiles; configuration-only demonstration.

## Continue Claude conversations across sessions

Claude-backed assistant and agent workflows now preserve native responses and conversation history across tool turns and saved sessions. Continue work after reloading without losing the earlier tool conversation. **Sonnet 5.5** and **Fable 5.1** also support continuation after earlier conversation prefixes have been edited.

After reloading the saved conversation, Sonnet 5.5 restores the sage background and retains the teapot colors and handle.

{% embed url="<https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2F9Rbsyh0ctT7HHyZB8b2W%2FC02-sonnet-continuation-smooth-privacy-blurred.mp4?alt=media>" %}

## Generate and edit with FLUX 3 Image

**FLUX 3 Image** replaces retired API-backed FLUX.2 and Kontext choices in fast, high-quality, multimodal and image-list nodes. Choose five resolution tiers from **768sq to 4K**, 15 aspect ratios including **9:21**, native automatic framing and optional **Web grounding**.

Use **Text + Image → Image** with up to four image inputs, or **Text + Image List → Image** for up to ten reference images. Refer to their roles in your prompt with **@image\_1**, **@image\_2** and so on. Supported input-match modes remain available for editing.

Saved retired model selections migrate automatically. Ordinary migrated aspect settings use **1K**, while supported input-match modes are retained; review output settings before your next run. Saved FLUX Fill outpainting selections move to Gemini 3.1 Flash. FLUX 3 Image availability follows model access, including existing IP-safety restrictions.

## Create videos with Grok Imagine Video 1.5 and Lite

Generate **1–15 second** clips from text or an image with **Grok Imagine Video 1.5** and **1.5 Lite**, at **480p, 720p or 1080p**, with native audio.

Grok 1.5 also supports reference-to-video with **one to seven images** at **480p or 720p**. Use an image list for more than three references and identify them in the prompt with **@image\_1**, **@image\_2** and so on. Lite is available for text- and image-to-video generation. Resolution and reference count are reflected in the run price.

## Start new texture workflows with Tripo 3.5

New **Image → 3D**, **Image → 3D (With Fallback)**, **Multiview → 3D** and **Texture Mesh** nodes select **Tripo 3.5** as their texture model by default. Saved Tripo 3.0 choices are preserved.

## Apply up to five animations in one node

**Atlas Apply Mixamo Animation** now provides five fixed custom/preset pairs. Choose a library preset or connect a custom clip for each block; the custom clip takes priority over that block's preset. Blocks 2–5 start at **None** so you can enable only the motions you need.

Successful animations arrive in selection order even when another clip fails during preparation, processing, download or saving. The first successful clip uses **Animated Mesh (UE5)**, and the rest use **Additional Animated Meshes (UE5)**. Existing saved array selections migrate to the fixed blocks. Animation access is required.

![Five animation blocks delivered one primary and four additional meshes. Custom clips connect to blocks 2 and 5; Break Mesh List exposes the four additional results. ## Review landmarks before finalizing a rig

Rigging now follows **Atlas Pre-Rig Humanoid Mesh → Atlas Rig Finalize**. Review landmarks between the stages, then connect **Rigging Job** to Finalize. The retired **Atlas Rig T-pose Humanoid** workflow migrates automatically, retaining inputs, completed outputs, run history and downstream connections.

Finalize delivers one **Rigged Mesh (UE5)** and three default-animation outputs: **Standard Walk (UE5)**, **Armada to Esquiva (UE5)** and **Finger Texting While Standing (UE5)**. Connect the rig to **Atlas Apply Mixamo Animation** for additional motions.

Rigging help now explains landmark estimation, finalization and AI animation correction more clearly. **Landmark Correction** is renamed **Landmark JSON**; JSON exported or downloaded from the skeleton needs only **joint\_positions**. These cumulative rigging changes include 0.37.1.

![Review landmarks, then finalize the character. The completed run delivered the UE5 rig and all three default animations, with the actual worker warnings visible.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FHZP8tQSIqx88li1HrIrc%2FR01-staged-finalize-completed-privacy-blurred.jpg?alt=media)

## Repair missing hand landmarks before finalizing

The landmark editor now warns when required hand coordinates are incomplete and offers Add missing joints to create editable placements for missing joints or finger chains.

Review and adjust the placements before finalizing. Revert undoes the additions. If automatic fitting needs help, the editor keeps editable seed positions and explains that manual placement is needed.

![Six fingers are requested against a retained five-finger estimate. The editor lists eight missing required sixth-finger coordinates and offers Add missing joints. Live configuration-mismatch demonstration; no fresh six-finger estimate or finalization is implied.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2FiFxx5iYcJJJg4azfsmGW%2F038-refresh-landmarks-L02-missing-warning.jpg?alt=media)

Add missing joints and Revert in the live editor. This demonstration requests six fingers against a retained five-finger estimate; it has not been finalized. The scene stays stationary while the editor creates and removes the missing coordinates.

## Run, stop and follow each node from its corner controls

Node run controls now show the action or state that matters: Play, Stop, queued cancellation, or a green checkmark when its result is up to date and reusable. Run until here runs connected prerequisites that still need work, and is suggested when upstream inputs change.

A disabled Play explains what is blocking the run, with mouse, keyboard and touch access. Stop asks for confirmation and explains the applicable credit policy. The chevron keeps run options, cache controls, help and downloads together.

![The ! badge explains why the dependent cannot run: its upstream image node has not run yet.](https://3654894688-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR7boiMixMhR4q36Ns33Y%2Fuploads%2F7cyFZT9VPQK3YXQCbEqA%2F038-refresh-controls-01-blocker.jpg?alt=media)

Live corner controls: inspect the upstream blocker, open Run options, Run until here, hover/cancel the queued dependent, then Keep running and confirm Stop. These recorded runs are deliberately cancelled; successful output is shown separately.

## Direct videos with Higgsfield Cinema Studio 4.0

Create cinematic videos from text, with optional image, video and audio references. Choose 4–30 seconds, 480p or 720p, one of six aspect ratios, and whether to generate synchronized audio.

Advanced controls let you set the era, genre, lighting, pacing, lens, camera character, color palette, aperture and camera movement. Leave a control on Automatic to let the model choose.

For each media type, connect individual Reference 1/2 inputs or an ordered reference list. Use @image\_1, @video\_1 and @audio\_1 in the prompt to refer to attached media. Lists support up to 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio clips; video and audio references each have a separate 30-second combined limit. Unmentioned attached references are included automatically with a warning. Availability depends on model access.

## Transfer motion, replace subjects and restyle videos with Genjutsu

The Higgsfield Genjutsu node brings three transformations together. Motion Transfer applies a source video's motion to reference subjects. Object Swap replaces subjects or objects. Restyle applies a visual preset, with preview images to help you choose.

Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p output. Motion Transfer and Object Swap use 1–8 reference images; Restyle requires a style and allows 0–5 optional images. Connect individual image references or an ordered list. Source clips must be at least four seconds; clips longer than 30 seconds are trimmed.

Use the prompt to describe a face, head or whole-character replacement. Precise isolation is best effort. Object Swap requires at least 409,600 pixels per source frame. Availability depends on model access.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.atlas.design/atlas-ai-studio-overview/release-notes/release-0.38.0.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
