Node Prices

Credit cost per run for every node in Atlas AI Studio, grouped by category, with the settings that move each price and guidance on budgeting expensive nodes.

Every node in Atlas costs a fixed number of credits per run, or a number that varies with the settings you choose. This page lists all of them so you can budget a workflow before you run it rather than after.

Most nodes fall into one of three shapes: flat rate (the same every run), a range (the settings listed in the middle column move the number within that span), or open-ended (the cost scales with the size of the input and has no published ceiling).

How to read the tables

  • Price moves with — the settings that change what a run costs. If this column says Flat rate, nothing you change will move the price.

  • Credits / run — a single number for flat-rate nodes, a range for everything else.

  • (sampled) — the range was measured across a sample of settings rather than every possible combination. Unusual configurations can land outside it.

  • from N — the run starts at N credits and grows with the input. Long text, more iterations, and larger documents all push it up.

Keeping costs down

A few habits that save real credits:

  • Set Maximum Credits on the Blender nodes. Blender Agent, Render Blender Scene, and Blender Scene to GLB all accept a Maximum Credits value. Blender Agent has the highest ceiling of any node at 28,324 credits, so set a cap you are comfortable with before running it.

  • Iterate on the cheap node, finish on the expensive one. Text → Image (Fast) tops out at 46 credits; Text → Image (High Quality) tops out at 255. Explore compositions on Fast, then re-run the winner on High Quality.

  • Do preparation with free nodes. Cropping, resizing, masking, channel splitting, and format conversion are all free. Trim and mask an image before it reaches a paid node.

  • Watch the fallback chain. Image → 3D (With Fallback) costs more than plain Image → 3D because each configured retry engine can run. Set the retry counts to what you actually need.

  • Bound the document nodes. Extract Images from Document and Extract Text from Document scale directly off Max images and Max characters. At their upper limits they cost 22,940 and 9,657 credits.

  • Lower resolution and duration first. Across video and 3D, these two settings move the price more than anything else. Keep them low while you iterate and raise them for the final run.

  • Input Nodes — free entry points for every content type

  • Image Nodes — generation, editing, and post-processing costs in context

  • Mesh Nodes — 3D generation and mesh processing, with prices ranging from single digits to five figures

  • Video Nodes — generation and editing, where resolution and duration drive the cost

  • Audio Nodes — speech, music, and sound effect generation

  • API Nodes — free to place, though the workflow behind them still costs credits

  • Utility Nodes — mostly free, with two very expensive document nodes

Frequently asked questions

Why is a node's price a range instead of a number?

Because the settings in the middle column change what the run costs. Model choice, resolution, duration, and quality are the usual culprits. A node listed as Flat rate charges the same regardless of configuration.

What does "(sampled)" mean next to a range?

The range was measured across a sample of configurations rather than every possible combination of settings. Treat it as the typical span rather than a guaranteed ceiling, since an unusual combination can land outside it.

What does "from 1" mean for the LLM and text-to-speech nodes?

Those nodes scale with the size of the input, so there is no fixed upper bound. A one-line prompt costs near the floor; a long document costs considerably more.

Which node can cost the most in a single run?

Blender Agent, at up to 28,324 credits. It also accepts a Maximum Credits setting, so the ceiling is whatever you set it to.

Are API nodes free?

The API input and output nodes themselves cost nothing to place in a graph. The workflow they wrap still charges normally each time the API is called.

Does a higher price mean a better result?

Not automatically. The expensive settings buy resolution, duration, texture detail, and extra retry attempts. If your output does not need those, a cheaper configuration will do the same job.
